Privacy Policy

How Rambl handles your data with care and transparency.

Last updated: February 20, 2026

At Rambl, we believe your content belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've built Rambl with privacy in mind from the start.

1Information We Collect

Text Content: When you submit text or a URL for conversion, we store your submitted content and conversion metadata (such as word/character counts, selected voice, and job status) to process conversions and support your library/history experience.

Audio Files: Generated audio files are stored in object storage so you can stream and download them from your account.

Device, Account, and Security Data: We collect device identifiers, account/session metadata, and security signals (such as IP address and user agent) to authenticate users, prevent abuse, and protect the service.

Billing and Usage Data: We store subscription tier details, minute usage records, minute-pack balances, and payment metadata needed to operate billing and customer support.

2How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Convert submitted text and URLs into audio
  • Deliver generated audio for playback and download
  • Provide account features such as library/history and usage tracking
  • Process subscriptions, minute packs, and related billing workflows
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
  • Provide customer support and troubleshoot service issues
  • Improve reliability, performance, and product quality

What we don't do: We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your submitted content to train Rambl-owned models. We do not create advertising profiles based on your Rambl activity.

3Data Storage

Application Database: We store account records, conversion text and metadata, usage/billing data, and security logs in managed databases so the service can function and we can support your account.

Object Storage: Generated audio files are stored for account-based playback and download. Audio may remain available until you delete related library items or we remove content through operational cleanup.

Retention and Deletion: We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account history, handle support and billing operations, meet legal obligations, and protect platform security. You can delete jobs from your library, and we also perform operational cleanup as needed.

Location: Data is processed and stored using cloud services that may operate across multiple regions, including the United States.

4Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

AI and Model Providers: We use one or more third-party AI/model providers to power text and audio processing features. Providers may process submitted content under their own terms, and our provider mix may change over time.

Cloud Infrastructure Providers: We rely on third-party infrastructure services for compute, storage, and networking needed to operate Rambl.

Payment Processors: If you purchase a paid plan or minute pack, payment details are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Transactional Email Providers: We may use third-party email providers to send account verification, password reset, billing, and service-related messages.

5Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
