Our story

Built for people who
love their daily walk

Rambl started with a simple observation: the best time to catch up on reading is when you're already outside.

The dog walker's reading list

It started during a morning walk. Leash in one hand, phone in the other, scrolling through a growing list of saved articles. Great essays about technology, science, culture—all waiting to be read. Someday.

That's when it clicked: I have time to listen.

Every morning, 30-45 minutes of walking. Eyes needed for the path, hands busy with the leash. But ears? Ears were free.

Existing text-to-speech tools felt like listening to a robot read a terms of service. We wanted something better—voices that actually sounded human, a process that took seconds not minutes, and a simple sign-in when you want to create your own.

So we built Rambl.

“Rambl”

To walk leisurely.
To talk at length.

The double meaning felt right.

Our mission

“It's okay to listen while you walk.”

Permission-giving, not productivity-pushing. Time you already have, used a little differently.

What we believe

The principles that guide how we build Rambl.

Privacy first

We delete your text after conversion. Your account keeps your library private to you. We don't sell data. Ever.

Simple, not simplistic

Powerful technology, effortless experience. Paste text, get audio. That's it.

Quality matters

Natural voices you'll actually enjoy listening to. No robotic monotone.

Why “Rambl”?

Ramble means two things: to walk leisurely without a fixed destination, and to talk or write at length. It's the perfect word for what we do—turning long-form writing into audio for long, leisurely walks.

We dropped the 'e' because, well, it was available.
